From Minar e Pakistan to Karachi

Stand they at both sides of the street,
In warmth and colour,
With hearts full of energy and change
The determined faces
In pursuit of promise
As we walk, as we ride,
From one corner to the other,

As we move
Through these streets of Karachi,
The familiar faces, young and old,
The unfamiliar faces, young and old
The faces that display warmth
In appreciation, as they chant,
The songs of pride and celebration,
As it runs through our existence,
These moments of motivation and pride
As songs of celebrations, as they sing,
Our time has come, our time has come,

No signs of anger or air of confrontation,
As smiling faces wave with their hands,
The signs of victory and slogans of change,
The fear gone out of their hearts
As they witness the gatherings
From Minare e Pakistan to the rest
The revolution is here,
The melted hearts,
This change, now the necessity
To feel and absorb
As we follow our thirst and hunger,
In our meanderings!
